Nashville is heating up, and in more ways than one. With a number of exciting events going on this month, from concerts to food festivals to art crawls, now is definitely the time to start shaking off that winter slumber if you haven't already. Here are a few Nashville events you have to try out.

May 12: Nashville Margarita Festival at Music City Walk of Fame Park. Kick back with the Nashville Scene, and enjoy a few margaritas while you're at it. Admission is $44 and gets you 15 margarita samples, live music, and the right to vote for top Margarita.

May 19: Tennessee Titans 5k. Run with your favorite Titans players, coaches, and staff. Entry is $50-$60, and includes a ticket to a Titans home game along with prizes for the winners in each age group.

May 16: Spring outing at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. Have a picnic and expose yourself to a little history. With presidential historian, Doris Kearns Goodwin, as the keynote speaker, you're not getting so much more than a nice meal in a fancy setting.

May 26: US Air Guitar Championships. One of those wild and wacky events we all want to be a part of, the US Air Guitar Championships are sure to rock your world with the most talented air guitarists in Nashville competing for glory and that sweet, sweet trophy.
